Our Story
Soren is an incredible kid whose autism journey has taught our family to celebrate progress in ways we never expected. For a long time, sports and group activities felt overwhelming for him, and finding spaces where he truly felt comfortable and included wasn’t easy. Everything changed when he joined Sport Social. Through patient coaching, structure, and encouragement, Soren began building confidence, trying new things, and discovering that he belongs on a team. Sport Social helped him grow not only in athletic skills, but in communication, confidence, and connection with others. A-Games gives Soren the opportunity to showcase that growth in a way that celebrates effort, determination, and individuality. Watching him participate alongside other kids who understand and support one another has been powerful for our entire family. A-Games is important to us because it gives Soren a place where he isn’t defined by challenges — he’s celebrated for his strengths, his courage, and the hard work he puts in every day.
